About the THREE60 Energy Network
The portal has been developed by Ridge AS personnel with the objective of encouraging collaboration and knowledge transfer, not just between Ridge employees but also with those working in the whole of the THREE60 group. The portal will provide an overview of whom to ask regarding different technical topics, and also give THREE60 personnel a chance to expand their own knowledge. There are also plans to allow restricted access to fee paying external members, including operating company personnel and alliance partners.
The objectives of the portal are:
- To share knowledge and experience with a network of leading experts with the methodologies and attitude to give THREE60 Energy clients a competitive edge
- Learn from presentations and discussions concerning the challenges and opportunities to providing complete solutions for operators of energy assets worldwide
- Meet with colleagues and gain fresh insight into thinking differently and looking at challenges from all perspectives
About THREE 60 Energy
THREE60 Energy is a leading independent energy service company offering complete asset life cycle expertise. The 5 main service lines support every phase of asset management from feasibility through to decommissioning
- Subsurface – expert consulting provided across exploration, appraisal field development, reservoir management, production engineering and optimization services
- Wells – specializing in well engineering services across topsides, sub-sea , wells and completions
- Engineering – delivering multi-discipline engineering projects, minor modifications, repair orders and consultancy services
- Construction and Commissioning – delivering construction, mechanical completion and commissioning support services
- Operations – delivers operations, maintenance, late-life, ultra-late-life and decommissioning services
For the purposes of the portal an additional service line of HSEQ has been added to focus on Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality assurance issues across all of the above service lines
Main Portal Functions
The main functions of the site include:
- Service Line – a home page showing recent activity across all other functions (except Library) and a sample membership with the capability to be filtered according to service line and technical subject categories
- Ask the Experts – a searchable forum for the discussion of technical topics with the capability to be filtered according to service line and technical subject categories
- Members – a searchable list of group members with the capability to be filtered according to service line and subject category to find category leaders, subject masters and experts
- Events – a searchable list of internal and external events that might be of interest to group members. Registration and joining details are provided for internal events
- Projects – a searchable list of study work and case histories performed by group members with capability to be filtered according to service line and technical subject categories
- Blog – a searchable collection of reference information and news items relevant to group members with the capability to be filtered according to service line and technical subject categories
- Library – a searchable collection of reference documents with the capability to be filtered according to service line technical subject categories and document type
Membership
THREE60 Energy
All current THREE60 Energy personnel will be assigned membership of the portal by synchronization with the Microsoft Azure Active Directory appropriate to their part of the group. They will be assigned to a service line in accordance with information contained within the Active directory. Those employees in roles that are not directly involved with the technical aspects covered by the portal will be assigned to an Administration group. THREE60 personnel will be assigned various levels of access based upon their role and/or the functional needs of the site. See more details in the site FAQs
External
Selected and approved External members will be allowed restricted access to the portal. A distinction will be made between Alliance Partners and Operating Company personnel. See more details in the site FAQs
